These terms govern your use of Bible Awake. By downloading, subscribing to, or using Bible Awake, you agree to these terms and the applicable Apple terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 and legally able to agree to these terms. If local law requires a higher age or parental consent, that requirement applies.
Alarm behavior and safety
Bible Awake is a convenience alarm, not an emergency, medical, life-safety or guaranteed wake service. Alarm delivery depends on a supported device, power, system settings, permissions and Apple services. With permission, AlarmKit can alert through Silent mode and Focus. The iPhone system Stop control can silence an alarm. If an enabled challenge remains unresolved, Bible Awake may schedule at most two follow-up alarms at two-minute intervals. Always maintain another alarm or safeguard when waking on time is critical.
Seven-day trial and subscription
Eligible new subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Unless canceled, the subscription renews automatically for $5.99 per month through Apple, plus any applicable tax, at the end of the trial and each monthly period. Apple displays and charges the localized price; an App Store price change is handled under Apple's rules. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may be limited to one trial.
Manage or cancel
Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings under your Apple Account subscriptions or in the App Store. Cancel before the trial or current billing period ends to avoid the next charge. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period; deleting Bible Awake does not cancel. Apple handles billing, refunds and payment disputes under its policies.
License and content
We grant you a personal, limited, nonexclusive, nontransferable and revocable license to use Bible Awake on Apple-branded products you own or control as permitted by Apple. Scripture, artwork, audio and other content are for personal use only. Bible Awake provides devotional content and is not professional medical, legal, financial or pastoral advice.
Service availability and changes
We aim to keep Bible Awake available, but the API, downloads, verification, content and Apple services may be interrupted, delayed or unavailable. Device-local alarms and previously downloaded content may continue to work, but no feature is guaranteed. We may maintain, change or discontinue features when reasonably necessary and will honor active subscription obligations required by law and Apple rules.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse Bible Awake, probe or bypass security, submit fraudulent transactions, interfere with the service, copy or redistribute protected content, or use the service unlawfully. You are responsible for your device, Apple Account and compliance with applicable law.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, Bible Awake is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, error-free content, or that an alarm will always sound or wake you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bible Awake and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost data, missed events, or losses caused by a missed or silenced alarm. Rights and remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to limit remain unaffected.
Apple terms
Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app license where applicable and is incorporated into these terms. Apple is not responsible for operating or supporting Bible Awake, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable license terms. Read Apple's Standard EULA.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend access for fraud, security threats, unlawful use or material breach. You may stop using Bible Awake at any time, but must cancel through Apple to stop renewal. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers and liability limits, continue to apply.
Changes and applicable law
We may update these terms prospectively and will post a new effective date. Material changes may be announced in the app. Applicable consumer-protection law and any mandatory rights in your place of residence continue to apply.
